Narendra Modi has invited comments and suggestions on his move to scrap the Planning Commission. What would your advice to the Prime Minister be?

On August 15 this year, Narendra Modi signalled the end of Nehruvian economics by calling for the scrapping of the Planning Commission. Once this happens, it will also spell the end of the five-year plan regime. The Prime Minister has now invited comments and suggestions on the steps to be taken, going forward, in order to keep the economy on track. What would you recommend he does? Do share your views with us.

sir he already scrapped the planning commission. So far all his programmes/plans are out of planning commission. Nothing is routed from the commission. He changed the name of PC, but however, he did not route his programmes/plans even from Niti Ayog. Our country is functioning for the last 68 years with the face of federal governance- NDC and participation of all CMs. But now such NDC is not there, he scrapped. But for name sake, he calls CMs for meeting and such meetings are headed by Chandra Babu Naidu. We people of India surprised by this sort of behaviour. What will happen to our country?

The biggest opposition will come from non BJP and non congress CMs. They all carry head full of egos. Modi and Jaitley have to use all their charms to get all CMs on board. Otherwise the NDRC may not take off. it is surprising but true that all these CMs digested lot of nonsense from congress led UPA but they expect the best from Modi. That Modi does not belong to the elite ruling class may be one such problem. If jaya and Mamata can bulldoze their way, there is no reason why Modi should play the sucker. Modi should be firm with his plans and go ahead with NDRC as per his ideas. An autocratic leader is passé in India as long as he keeps mentioning democracy in his speeches.

Planning comisiion should concentrate on following points. 1. Concrete roads from all Grampanchayat to Taluka places. For this Finacial planning should done by stopping Metro-Rail project which cost @Rs.800.00cr per K.M. all over India. 2. Agro based Ind. Development on fARMS only instead of at Industry Area This will develope all Rural areas. 3. Stop all New SMART CITY PROJECTS.Instead only concentrate SMART VILLAGES PROJECTS. Planning should acommodiate only Rurals instead Urbans subhash dagadgunde 9422705520 Mechanical Engineer and exp.Agro based Industries
