Is Kejriwal-Aaj Tak 'match fixing' video an incorrect representation of facts?

A video showing AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal asking a TV news anchor to emphasise certain sections of his interview went viral on Youtube. During the conversation, Kejriwal is seen asking the TV anchor to give emphasis on certain segments of the interview. Do you think such conversations are normal before or after a TV interview or there is something going on between the two?

A prematurely retirred revenue officer by training and engagement has the attitude of the revenue officer - corruption. In Kerala there is saying 'CHAKKARAKODATHIL KAYYITTAL ARUM NAKKUM'. Yes Income-tax office is a chakkarakodam. He knows how to bend an assessee and extract his price. This is what he did with the TV Anchor and and Anchors. How many past TV Anchors are today in the Party? Is it because of ideology? Is it because they thought over the matter before leaving TV anchor job?" Shame upon them.

Can any one in the Media/News just publish anything without Editing ? Why do we edit anything ? Personally Feel there is nothing wrong as long as its not a common debate where something has been edited and due advantage being given to a specific party, here its a Solo interview and He wanted to project something and the Channel agreed.

Just a Sensationalize attempt by some vested interest. Nothing wrong in the clip. Discussions are very normal and there will be difference when someone is speaking publicly and private though Intent is same for Public and private only difference is the articulation. Every channel is now looking for TRP's and this is the result of that. I am amazed at the channel's silence , apart from issuing a "official statement" they haven't done anything, which casts doubt that this was deliberate attempt to attract attention of people and cause damage to AK's reputation. AK has stirred too many hornet's nest at the same time and paying some price for that.

The media has once again showed its color when it comes to their own interest. When a mediaperson is found doing something wrong, they all come together to protect its men, that is exactly happen in this case. This is clear case of paid media, but people from the media do not want to admit it. Television anchors like Rajdeep Sardesai and Print editor N. Ram too were seen defending or trying to divert the attention from the main expose that took place that day. The fact of the matter is India Today group and Punya Prasoon Bajpai were caught pants down that day. Before that, a plane was sent to bring Arvind Kejriwal from Jaipur just to attend their program and those who watch AajTak have clearly sense that AajTak was prompting Arvind Kejriwal and has brand of politics at the behest of somebody. Many days before this expose, people had started calling AajTak as AapTak because there was some much coverage of Arvind Kejriwal. This is a fact that paid media is here in India and true journalism has lost its way. It is better if Broadcasters and editors understand and do the course correction in order to establish its credibility, which is very low right now.
